BLKBX retained to shop exclusive rights for Zuroam Media’s ‘A Little Spark’ award winning, interactive children’s books to create animated television series
LOS ANGELES, CA, February 10, 2022 – Entertainment industry innovators BLKBX Creative Group and Zuroam Media announce partnership to solicit and secure a rights deal to bring the original “A Little Spark” book series to the screen in an animated kids’ TV series. Based on the Gold Medal Award-Winning, inspirational and uniquely interactive “A Little Spark” children’s book with custom-scored soundtrack, the series is poised to transform kids’ television much as the book is redefining children’s literature.
Thoughtfully designed around the “Be That Spark movement utilized to engage, enthrall and influence kids to do good in the world, the creative team are launching the project as an innovative and interactive source of entertainment and educationally focused programming.
“The collaborative entertainment partner with whom we ultimately engage will appreciate the significant quality and quantity of unique content that comprises A Little Spark and the experience of the Be That Spark movement at large,” said Frank Donner, Founder and CEO of BLKBX Creative Group.
“With a variety of components to support the learning experience of young audiences, timing for content of this nature that covers important societal, cultural and environmental themes such as empathy, compassion and generosity could not be more perfect” , continued Karen Criswell, a former DreamWorks Studios executive now serving as BLKBX Executive Producer.
Parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators are indelibly seeking meaningful ways to engage with kids, and all A Little Spark content is crafted with purpose and intention toward that end,” says Chris Parsons, Zuroam Media CEO.

Parsons collaborated with renowned music producer Bruce Faulconer to develop the original soundtrack for the hardcover book and the accompanying audiobook.
The new scholastic “Be That Spark” elementary education pilot program currently underway in select U.S. cities is also quickly captivating the hearts and minds of students and teachers, alike.
